Port of Guam receives final approval for Hotel wharf rehabilitation project.

Yesterday The Port Authority of Guam (PAG) received the final approval to begin working on the rehabilitation project.

It is still estimated that the project will break ground sometime in January of 2020. According to the PAG general manager, the projects completion is expected to take roughly two years. Read full Guam Daily Post article here.

PAG plans to reconfigure the hotel wharf at the Port of Guam to expand wharf capacity and decrease congestion issues at the cargo terminal.

The limited number of cruise ships that annually visit Guam are only able to dock at the commercial port, which has repeatedly caused scheduling issues for PAG. Read the full PNC article here.
